Changing the .asi to .bak DOESN’T work on Vista only in XP versions of Windows. I tried it several times.

it works!!!to fix the problem as i understood you must just reinstall-update the audio card drives..
how do you do that?
I’ve got a sound system, plugged on the headphone jack from my computer (Headphone adapter from Headphone to White n Red wires) and I’ve also have a Microphone headset. Both don’t give me the Stereo Mix option.
Computer does not pick up the devices.
No problem.
