SO If your hl2.exe has stopped working due to the shaderapidx9.dll problem i found the solution(at least for xp users). The problem is, for whatever reason your .dll file paths have become all mess…

i Download SP3 and didnt work…so i dont reckon ill ever be able to play css agai :’(
i have try it with my wondows xp cd etc but it doesent work :*(
um i tried all these methods but it turned out the problem was my computer was blocking the program. go to controll panel windows fire wall and alow hl2.exe this is for vista
do you have to buy the thing in the discription or is it free?
you can download it illegally for free, or you have to buy it
it shows me that message for g-mod
“C:Program FilesHalf-Life 2hl2_launch.exe” -window +mat_colorcorrection 1and then go to options > video then run it with fullscreen instead of window
